As of two weeks today I have not had a smartphone, for reasons to do with me going to court, etc, long story I may tell sometime. Anyway, I have had a phone that basically just calls and texts, it has no apps on it, it’s too slow for any of that stuff. So basically it just calls and texts, I love it. I don’t have to keep checking my phone every few minutes to see what the happenings are on Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and Twitter. The thing now is I have lots of time to myself, so I am going to get back out walking and cycling, and quite possibly talking to real humans again.
I am not gonna lie its not easy, but the benefits I am seeing are remarkable in relation to my mental health.
I don’t know how long I won’t have a Smartphone, the longer the wait the better, I can start living life again.
