Most people out there would not associate working on an ambulance as a happy place. Well I am not most people and I love working as an emergency services ambulance officer, the adrenaline, fast paced environment and making decisive decisions are all things that make me thrive. Working on the front line allows me to put aside and forget about my own battles, instead I can help others instead. The ambulance is the one place that I can put my bipolar away into my pocket.

What do others do that helps them forget about the bipolar?
