Thought I would write down a list of things that make me happy, something I can come back to when feeling the dark clouds of depression forming.

  • Freshwater fishing
  • Visiting new beautiful parts of New Zealand
  • Writing down my thoughts
  • Sui Mai and Craft Beer
  • Spending time with my kids
  • Spending time with my girlfriend
  • A coffee when I first get up
  • My cats, they always know hoe to cheer me up
  • Knowing that people know I have Bipolar and am not just hiding it
  • That I have “retired” from public school teaching
  • That I have lots of exciting opportunities coming my way
  • Surviving not thriving is my new normal, and I am at peace with that
  • Online gaming
  • Reading newspapers and magazines online
  • Reading blogs that interest me
